Wanted: Married couples wanting the best for their families and a job to help them get there.

Imagine that your job is to work as a team with your spouse to raise and care for your family. Your primary responsibility is to provide daily life experiences for your family members that are enriching and educational.

Imagine being paid a minimum salary in the mid to upper $30s per couple with excellent fringe benefits such as a three-bedroom home in a great middle-class neighborhood with good schools, a monthly food allowance, and use of a mini-van-all paid!

Now stop imagining, because this job really exists,
and it could be the best job you ever had.

Community Living Opportunities (CLO) a local not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation is seeking civic-minded married couples for its Family Teaching Program. Family Teachers provide teaching and support for three or four persons with developmental disabilities who live in separate, but attached (duplex), three-bedroom homes in the Lawrence or Kansas City area. Family Teachers work with the individuals in the home and manage home operations and budgets. The children of Family Teachers are important ingredients for fulfilling lifestyles for many people with developmental disabilities.

CLO is directly affiliated with consultants/faculty from the University of Kansas. Training consists of two weeks of intensive workshop training, weekly in-home consultation, and structured quality evaluations that lead to certification as a Family Teacher.

Do you want a gratifying life for yourself and your family? Give serious consideration to the one CLO is offering. CLO also offers excellent benefits including health/dental/vision/KPERS/life and a 403(b) tax sheltered savings plan. To learn more about this life changing opportunity contact:
