Wet weather dampened the surroundings, but not spirits at
CLOs annual picnic last September.
Members of CLOs board of directors, employees and their
families, and people served by CLO mingled under a large shelter
at the 11th annual event, held at Kill Creek Park near DeSoto.

Dyer, CLO's Human Resources Department, organized the
annual picnic. |
The afternoon included a barbeque feast, a moon walk for
the children in attendance (which turned out a few soaking
wet, but happy kids), and awards for Individual Achievement
to honor people CLO serves.

CLOs staff members will be honored for exceptional
service at a banquet on February 8 at the Knights of Columbus
hall in Lawrence. Businesses in the community that bolster
CLOs mission and other supporters will also receive
honors on February 8.
The annual picnic and employee appreciation banquet are made
possible by donations from the families and guardians of the
people CLO serves and other friends of CLO.
