July 28th -31st, CLO's Midnight Farm held its summer camp for children with autism and their parents. Camp activities included animal petting and care, camp crafts, snack crafts, sing-alongs, social activities, nature hikes, painted horse parade, painted horse bath, kites and parachutes, turtle race, fun games and friendly contests. Kids went to camp while parents learned empirically-based techniques for reducing problem behavior and teaching skills such as communication, social skills, self-care, play, and hobbies.
