Once again, great weather greeted men, women and children of CLO as well as parents, employees and their families for an afternoon of fun, food and entertainment during the annual CLO picnic. The event took place on September 24th in the picturesque Kill Creek Park, midway between Overland Park and Lawrence. This year the picnic included various games, a moonwalk, catered food, music and award ceremonies. A professional clown entertained everyone with jokes, face-painting and balloon animals. The highlight of the day was provided by Dr. Michaels Strouse who brought one of his horses to the picnic and assisted more than thirty men, women and children in taking rides on the beautiful, strong and very patient animal.
